She Who Frees Her Voice
From MargoShe Who Frees Her Voice is the image that emerged through Shiloh Sophia’s Intentional Creativity Legend course. This beautiful class gave me the opportunity to create a mythic painting as a way of discovering and revealing my “Awakened Legendary Self”. When it came time to bring through the heroine of my story, a woman in deep conversation with Spirit appeared. With her head thrown back and mouth wide open, she’s boldly sharing her internal truth in service to love. Her heart is on fire with inspiration. She’s accompanied by two favorite spirit animals – a snake symbolizing transformation and healing and a lion serving to protect the space required for the freeing of soul voice.

Her StoryShe sets off bravely into the unknown,
her snake ally by her side. A full moon rises illuminating the path she knows she must take. Inner instructions guide and reassure her. It’s okay to not know-- Be at peace. The wind flies without a plan. Allow more space between thoughts, it’s there you’ll find the next clue. Feeling her way through the trees, she finds an opening near a waterfall. She knows this is the spot that’s been calling to her. She remembers the invitation that came in a dream. The invitation she’s determined to follow. “Come,” a gentle voice had said. “Soar with me in the garden. Outside. Our sacred meeting place. Your healing powers are being invoked.” The mystery and wonder of this invitation brings a smile to her face. Moonbeams dance on the floor of possibility as she quiets her mind to connect with her depths. She kneels in gratitude to pray. A mama lion silently steps forward offering protection, strength, and the boundary she needs for full presence. Winged ones fly overhead offering blessings. This is the time. With great power and passion, she stands, throws her head back, opens her throat, and frees the song of her soul. |
