She Who Is Wise and Brave

She Who Is Wise and Brave seemed to fly through my canvas from another galaxy with a message to follow the wisdom and courage of the heart.  She wanted to be grounded in the earth so I painted roses in her heart and energy pulsing through her body connected to the earth's core.  The whale tale over her left shoulder and the planets over her right shoulder symbolize the ability to dive into the depths and soar to great heights.  Hidden underneath layers of paint in the left side of her body is a dancing love warrior woman and many prayers for strength and courage and the deepening ability to hear inner guidance and speak up and out, putting love into action in whatever ways we are guided.

Her Message

Passionate heart, on fire with love,
the planets are aligned.
The time has come for you to shine,
unless you’ve changed your mind.
 
You’re called to let your magic out,
been hidden far too long--
to trust your pen, your brush, your voice,
to sing your soul’s full song.
 
Shake loose and join me in your wild,
I’m here right on the edge.
Ignite the powers of your owl,
fly off the sacred ledge.
 
You know the way, the map is lit,
dive down and speak from there.
Be bold and teach that which you know.
You’re ready if you dare.
